I posted this on TikTok originally, and it’s still a work in progress. But with the U.S. government potentially banning TikTok (I’m in the U.S.), I’m unfortunately losing that platform to finish this story as I wanted. Also, the chapters are very short. I may make them longer as we get deeper into the story. We’ll see!

You have a poison tooth in your mouth.
One bite, and you’re dead. “Put it down,” the masked man with the rich, velvety deep voice says.
Any other time, you would have thought it pleasant.
He’s your sworn enemy, fighting for the other side.
He has you cornered with all his men around you in a dead-end section of the fort.
You lower your weapon, throwing it to the ground.
Your heart pounds wildly.
You’ve got to find a way out of here. They can’t take you. “Let me go,” you say.
Never get caught alive, was your team leader’s warning.
“You’re surrounded, y/n,” he says. “Don’t do anything stupid,” he warns.
Before you can bite on the poison tooth, he reaches out fast and pinches your neck.
Your entire body is paralyzed as you fall to the floor.
He catches you before you fall.
He lifts you up, bridal style, carrying you away. “You belong with me now.”
