You live in a small village.
The old farmer glares at you when he sees where you’re going. “Beware of vampires, girl. They roam the forest at this hour. Don’t go that way.”
You sigh, ignoring his warning. He’s just some crazy old man. You don’t believe in that silly nonsense.
As you enter the dark, thick woods, there’s a heavy fog rolling through.
Soon something streaks past you at an unnatural speed, making your hair swoosh in the wind.
Then you hear a dark, smooth voice say, “You’re a little far from home.”
Your heart rate picks up in surprise.
“Who are you?” you glance around with your bow pointed and ready to kill, but you don’t see anyone.
He finally steps under the moonlight. He’s extremely attractive with green eyes and inky hair, just like you remember.
“E/n,” you breathe.
All the girls in town loved pretending he was theirs.
He leans against a tree, watching you.
“What are you doing here, y/n?” he says, smoothly.
You’re secretly thrilled he knows your name.
“I’m…hunting,” you say, putting your bow and arrow away.
The side of his mouth twitches like he wants to smile. “That’s funny, so am I. Didn’t they warn you not to come into the forest at night?”
“It’s a bunch of silly, old wives tales…” you say. “Besides, you’re here. Aren’t you afraid?”
His elegant brow rises, and his watchful eyes sparkle with amusement. “You’re a bold one. Come here,” he says.
You do as he says and stand in front of him. He lowers his face close to yours which is a challenge because he towers over you.
He stares at your lips, then your eyes then back to your lips again.
Oh! He’s about to kiss you. The girls in the village are going to be so jealous.
Suddenly, everything goes dark.
